NDC POLITICS AND GOVERNMENT IS DIVIDE AND CONQUER. NDC WOULD ACCUSE OTHERS OF TRIBALISM WHILE THEY USE A POLICY OF TRIBALISM FOR RAWLINGS ONCE SAID GHANAIANS VOTE ALONG TRIBAL LINES HENCE NDC'S TRIBAL POLICY.

If you don't know allow me to educate you. Per the records, the current NDC Government has the lowest number of Ewes within it fold. Whoever is working with the Government is there because they are competent and deserve to be there. This is completely different from a Party which when they were in party gave Government portfolios to people from one tribe. The NDC Party is more cosmopolitan in nature then any other. You find Ewes, Akans, Asantes, Northerns etc within the party. You don't believe me? 1. The founder of the Party, Jerry John Rawlings is an Ewe, The Late President of Ghana, John Evans Atta Mills is a fante and the current President is also a Northerner. This picture depicts the general outlook of the party. The last time another Party got the chance to diversify their party they ended up suspending all those who were not Akyens or AKans.

It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

OO Jay, that is obviously not so, the NDC party of today is a multi tribal party unlike the other opposition party(ies)As a matter of fact the party's leader Pres.Mahama is from the Northern region. Gen. secretary is from Brong Ahafo, Vice Pres. is from Central, Chairman frm Accra. So NDC has gone far beyond tribal politics.

The Presidency must be commended for ensuring that the Italian Prime Minister made it to Ghana and even interacted with our Legislature. The President has proven that all his travels outside the country is yielding results, because he had earlier on visited the Italian Prime Minister in Italy. Hence i can suggest that the Italian Prime Minister's visit to Ghana is out of respect and appreciation to our President. The Community of Nation has a lot of Potentials the Nation can tap in from deepening bilateral ties with Italy is a step in the Right direction one which will promote peace, harmony and open up trade worth millions of dollars between the two countries. The President is definitely working hard to ensure that the various facets of the economy is developed. Lets all support the President to make Ghana Better.

Why does Ghana need anymore foreign oil companies to invest in the energy sector? Why can't the government strengthen local oil entrepreneurs, instead of selling itself out to westerners, allowing them to extract the resources, and leave the Ghanaian people with nothing but crumbs. The resources will be extracted, the shareholders of this Italian people will get rich, and the Ghanaians will once again gain no value from the resources of the land. I really hope Ghana wakes up and starts to protest these crooks before there is nothing left.

When I saw the title to the article, "Ghana deepens bilateral ties with Italy", I couldnt help laughing. No such thing such as bilateral ties can ever happen under the govt of Mahama. I think what the title should have rather read is "Ghana promotes further imperialist exploitation by Italy".
This NDC govt has willfully 'collapsed' the Tema Oil Refinery and the GNPC and in their place, they are calling on incurable economic rapists to come and gang-bang Ghana.
It is becoming clearer and clearer that somewhere in the near future, Ghanaians may have to embark on another struggle for independence to liberate and free our country back from the imperialists.
