If Dangote or any other company can bring in more cement to cut down the price in the interest of the larger population let them do that,Diamond cement or GHACEM can collapse we don't care,we need affordable cement not expensive cement,creating of artificial shortage by these companies especially GHACEM to raise the price should be over.

A fellow Ghanaian lecturer was almost lynched by the students of that university because he had a girlfriend who was Miss Nigeria at the time. He had to relocate outside Nigeria. Now they are all here and destroying our economy and we are looking on sheepishly. No sense of national pride.

That is the question the youth of Volta region should be asking diamond cement.
Government cannot stifle the competition in order to support the inefficient operations of diamond cement.
Find out how dangote is able to produce and sell cheaper than diamond cement.
If diamond cement improves on their efficiency, they should be able to produce their cement cheaper than diamond cement and therefore sell cheaper to consumers. Diamond cement is closer to the market.
The government should not make the mistake by interfering in how companies run their businesses. We don't want to return to the dark days when work at building sites had to stop because of the shortage of cement.
We need more cement to support our development agenda. The housing boom in ghana is partly because of the availability of cement at affordable prices provided by dangote.
Had it not been for dangote, the price of cement would have spiralled out of control like it did before when the market was monopolised by local players like diamond cement and Ghacem.
It's a free market, let them compete. The market will regulate and correct itself.
