They only sorted out those they felt they should admit. They are still keeping the rest of the list with them. They refuse to comply with the 30% policy of placement where students from the catchment area have been posted there. Majority of those rejected were those from Cape Coast. Some of the teachers are rude even including the headmistress' secretary. The minister of education should stop them from doing that. This headmistress should be sacked

The BNIs must start their investigations right away to come out with the truth-The BNI must be assisted by the Regional Directorate of Cape Coast(Education) to make sure that the head mistress nor her secretary should not enter their offices before investigation is completed. the BNIs must go for the original placement list and the one with the school;compare them if someone at the placement unit has changed some names or the head has decided to use her own list;and why?
2.Check the JSS entrance forms of each and every fresh student in the school to find out whether the school was her choice and then her aggregate that gained her her admission into the school.
3.If indeed,there is a policy that 30% of freshes must come from the catchment area,(do not know if the policy talks about a requirement one has to meet,for these catchment area students), make sure the policy is complied to and if not why?
3. investigate further , those freshers who might have admitted " wrong" and you will found out that about 90% of them would be kids of the so called big men;ministers,cheifs,directors,friends and PTA leaders.
Can the BNIs inquire how much they must have paid in total becoming a fresher as against the GES approved fees?
THIS IS A CASE THAT THE BNIs AND THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION MUST INVESTIGATE WITH ALL SERIOUSNESS AND BRING TO BOOK ANY OFFENDER.

Any child living in the hinterlands hardly gets admission to any of these schools:Wesley Girls,Holy Child,Adisadel college,Mfantispim,St August inescapable college all in Cape Coast.
Others Achimota School,Accra,Prempeh college,Opoku Ware school,St Louis school Kumasi and others in various parts of the country.Selections must be based on performance to discover the hidden talents of all children irrespective their background.

Alas only God can save the country, on the hand the military with high punishment could set in again and killed many leaders of these practices of bribery and corruptions with impunity without solving these vicious attitudes and habits of the few so called intellectuals. All these so-called intellectuals should be reminded that "Book knowledge without good character means nothing to humanity. The politicians must set a good example working hard to show an honesty in their behaviors. For instant Kufuor and NPP government including Nana Addo left the roads streets and fly-overs in the country dusty and uncompleted and fortunately these infra-structures have been completed by the late Attah-Mills, Mahamah governmets NDC. Again Kufuor and NPP government including Nana Addo sold Ghana Airways Airline as well as Ghana telecommunications which had served the country for more than fifthy years to Vodafone and shared the money before the left office. With such a record the NPP party should never come to power again be cause the founder the late Prof. Boahene would be crying in his grave while these opportunists are using his party for bribery, corruption and exploitations.

Wesley Girls is very notorious for corruption when it comes to admission. Few years back, my niece had near perfect scores and was rejected by the school. She then ended up with her second choice of school (Ghana National College). But guess what, because she is a natural good student, she obtained very good grades and was admitted to Legon with excellent grades without any hassle. She is now in her third year (among the top 5 in her class). Most deserving students are rejected and rendered frustrated for worthless kids of self defined successful parents but are unable to make it to the University, and even if they make it at all, they end up being expelled because they are unable to handle the course load. Fools! Fire headmistress and her immediate subordinates. They are part of the problem in Ghana and not only the politicians.

The protocol list has taken over. Court, compensations and punitive fines is the way forward. Refund their cash immediately and investigate the corrupt practice. If it happened last year, then a formula should have been devised to deal with the overflow. It may be too late for some of the rejected girls to find a good school as the term has started.
