Every town, village and hamlet in Gonjaland has received a facelift with new facilities such as roads, toilet facilities, markets, mosques, good quality water projects, electricity extension projects, etc. The question is did J. J. Rawlings do the same thing to Voltarians when he was in power for twenty years? What about Atta Mills. The good old Prof was in power for three and a half years yet he was not selfish to only concentrate on his people in Ekumfi Etuam and the central Region but rather his whole thought was for the general good. No wonder under the care of Prez Mills, Ghana achieved a growth rate of 11%, single digit inflation and the smooth implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy where newly recruited police personnel received the nominal equivalence of 500dollars as monthly salary. Compare these achievements to the nepotism and selfish policies of the Mahama government that has crippled the Ghanaian economy. I really weep for Ewes and Fantis whose votes brought Mahama to power and yet are the hardest hit by the current hardship prevailing in the country.

My question to those Chiefs in that North Tongu district of which Ablakwa is the MP is, what influenced their decision to vote for the NDC party in the 2008 and 2012 elections when according to the report and I quote; "Today gathered that the erstwhile New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration in partnership with the Japanese International Development Agency (JICA,) started funding the construction of the 55-kilometre road from Sokode-Gbogame-Juapong through Abutia and the 13-kilometre Sokode-Gbogame-Bame road, which shortened the distance between Ho and Hohoe, and Juapong-Adidome and Kpong-Aveyimen according to the report" and after voting for the NDC party in 2008 and the project was not continued since funding had been secured already, the North Tongu district and constituency voted for the NDC party again in 2012, when the roads with funding already secured, had not been completed and was being used as an election bait?
What formed the basis of voting for Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and the Mahama NDC gov't in 2008 and 2012 knowing very well that construction had already been started by the NPP in partnership with JICA on those roads?
