BECE leaks because parents perceive only a few of the over 600 secondary schools in the country to be good and worthy for their wards. Another reason is that they perceive that some schools cheat so they've gotta do something to level the playing field. With increasing population entrance to these few secondary schools (high schools) has become ever more competitive. Students contribute money to solve this problem. The money offered is so much that the entire examination process is compromised. The solution? Renovation and good management of existing schools, offering a fair exam and fair salaries.

Ghana really need to really take a look at the education sector. This is where we all started from before we call ourselves leaders. But it seemed we all forget to develop that sector that form the bases our where the so called leaders are at the moment. The poor performance of our leaders all come from the poor education we receive that is why we always cherish foreign education and neglect our own establishment. What is wrong with you leaders. All parties are the same, because they are all formed by the same people in the country. We citizens have to change our attitude and stop blaming Government. We have to play our role as well.
