This is a clear manifestation of the police shear arrogance and audacity in pretending they are the reposit of legal knowledge and the custodians of the laws of the country.This is exactly the same reason why the police obstruct justice with impunity often through corrupt ad hoc procedures.Many cases in police custody escape punishment once culprits sometimes outright criminals are ready to pay bribe.The police have also many occasions been used by powerful and wealthy people in both public and private life to harass,intimidate,cheat and punish the less economically endowed in our society.The impunity of this DCOP in setting up his own court and usurping the powers of a high court does not come as a surprise to me.It was informed by greed and lust for power.

Why not the case be against the unit but the individual who is just performing her official duties,she may be wrong but why she has to go to court but not the government she works for, do police have immunity from prosecution in performing their official duties?
The court should have written to the police outfit to stop whatever they were doing through their lawyer instead of asking the commander to come to court to face charges as if she has committed a crime as an individual.
We seem to be abusing the court system.
Why this paper trying to be a lawyer cannot tell what she or her office did which constitute the contempt charges only to say she turned her office to land court?
