I feel that the street naming project could have been used as an opportunity to improve streets/road conditions. For example, a person/organisation that would fund the construction or the maintenance of a street is given the privilege of naming it.
This would prove effective because there are a lot of wealthy people/organisations in Ghana who would do good only if they would receive the acknowledgement and praise that the feel they deserve.
