The EO Group came out of E-Link, a company which Dr. Edusei formed in 1999 to facilitate his philanthropic and entrepreneural ambition; a trait which is rooted in his family tree.
Dr. Edusei's EO Group brought Kosmos to Ghana. According to Ghana Petroleum law around that time, investors gets 90% whiles Ghana Government gets 10% of the accrued revenue from investors’ exploration of the oil.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT EO Group struck its deal with Kosmos Energy but not Government of Ghana. Thus EO's took its 3% share was from Kosmos Energy but not Government of Ghana. This goes to explain that EO's 3% was taken from Kosmos 90% shares that was due them. Thus Kosmos was left with 87% of their shares whiles Government of Ghana's shares remains 10% as stated by the Ghana Petroleum law.
Dr. Edusei's EO Group signed agreement with Kosmos Energy in July 2003, and rounded the agreement up in early 2004, whiles he became Ghana's ambassador to US in October 2004. So there was no conflict of interest whatsoever as some people are trying to force down our throat. The EO-Kosmos Energy deal was done before he became an ambassador.
In establishing the cleanness of the agreement, international investigators were hired to investigate EO. Yet, they found nothing wrong with their deal with Kosmos.
In 2013, Ghana government cleared EO of any wrong doings.
So now what? The obvious is that it is just due to sheer envy and hatred that some persons continue to throw dust into people's eye to soil the hard earn reputation of Dr. Edusei. But that is not gonna wash. Folks should rather be grateful to the EO Group for making oil exploration in Ghana a reality. After all, Tsatsu Tsikata spent millions of dollars of tax payers’ monies in about 20years on flimsy exploration engagements but to no avail.
Let’s Ghanaians be grateful to Dr. Edusei and his EO group, for they have done what "Napoleon" Tsatsu Tsikata couldn't do in 20 years.
God bless Dr. Bawuah Edusei.

He got his wealth from being a Medical Officer in the USA, and an Oil magnate. We only have to pray the opportunity to access a business deal as he got is available to all who are conscientious and have integrity to work hard.
We should not envy him, or pull him down but appeal to him to use his knowledge and influence to push the Government to provide more of the opportunity he got to ordinary Ghanaians. Often, the foreign businesses are offered most of those opportunities leaving us the Citizens with crumbs from lousy employments.

They sold their shares in Kosmos and made money. Folks, you cannot talk nonsense about a man if you don't know him. He never took Ghana's money and even trying to give something back. Ghanaians are stupid and ungrateful, period.

That is the best way to give back to the Nation that has offered him the opportunity to become as wealthy as he is. He should invest more in Ghana's Private Sector to encourage the young to emulate his entrepreneurial skills.
Stashing the dough in safe-havens abroad only to occasionally give donations for some Community programs would not be as helpful to Ghana.
Meanwhile, we must all be thankful for even this much donation from him. God bless him!

Thus, Dr. Edusei, as I can see is following the footsteps of his fathers, aunts and uncles. Let us encourage him to do more to help lift the education and the youth of our nation, and also lift the spirit of philanthropy high among Ghanaians. Bravo, Dr.

Dr Edusei,God bless you for your generosity.Everybody appreciates your selflessness and your desire to uplift all Ghanaians, but I have to admonish you that never again donate any money to the bogus Otumfuo Education Fund or Otumfuo Osei Tutu Charity Foundation. You are a very well educated and experienced in life, and I know you will agree with me that any charitable organization which has no financial records is a bogus organization.Donations to the Otumfuo Education Fund which has been in existence for more than ten years have been diverted, while some children in Ashanti are studying in classrooms without doors and windows, and even some studying under trees. In fact, your kind donation is regarded by many people in Ashanti as just a "gift" to Manhyia palace.

The attempt by Tsatsu Tsikata and his Ewe hegemony to taint the image of Dr. Edusei and his EO because the later did what the former couldn’t do in 20years with million of taxpayers dollars is cynical, evil and sheer hatred for an Asante success.
But, that ain't washing. Hatred and Jealousy go kill Nyebros
Tsatsu Tsikata spent over 20years and over $200 million of the taxpayer’s monies in the name of oil exporation, but brought Ghana nothing.
Dr. EDusei and his EO Group made the right contact and oil exploration became a reality. So if not for needless tribal persecution, between Tsatsu Tsikata and Dr. Edusei, who should be held liable for having duped Ghana??...You know the answer by now!
God bless Dr. Edusei for his ability to see beyond the ordinary.
