It is their choice of work. They have free education in the area they come from. They chose to work instead. You work....You pay tax. Who should pay taxes to look after them?

Free education is always in the northern sector, There are still classrooms that are half filled with pupis, they have decided not to go to school at all, They should pay tax for the cleaning of their mess that they leave behind daily. Eg. toilet, urine, left over food and wrappers, water they bathe every day, all these needs cleaning.

IS IT TRUE THAT THESE WOMEN OR GIRLS ARE REALLY TAXED? IT IS UNBELIEVABLE WHAT I AM READING. THERE ARE SO MANY COMPANIES OR CONCERNS THAT SHOULD BE PAYING TAXES THAT ARE NOT. LET ME GIVE EXAMPLES. I BOUGHT FOOD AT A HOTEL IN MY SMALL TOWN WHERE THERE IS NO MENU BUT THEY SELL FOOD AND DRINKS AND DO NOT GIVE RECEIPTS AND IAM SURE THERE ARE NO RECORDS OF THE MONEY THEY ARE MAKING AND THOSE WHO SHOULD CHECK ARE NOT DOING IT. I BOUGHT CARTRIDGE AT A STORE IN ACCRA AND THE RECEIPT I WAS GIVEN SHOWED THAT THIS COMPANY IS HIDING THE SALES. MY FEELING IS THAT COMPANIES NOT PAYING TAXES IN GHANA ARE SO MANY AND FEEL THAT THE LAWS ARE NOT BEING ENFORCED. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT ONE DOES NOT HEAR OF ANY COMPANY IN GHANA BEING SANCTIONED FOR NOT PAYING TAXES?

Certainly, I believe this Pastor is surely exempting such poor girls or women of his congregation from paying tithes and church collection/dues. If not then keep quiet please.

Any one over the age of sixteen who works and earn a living must contribute to the economic development of the country. it is very unfortunate that these Kayayei un unable to attain any educational qualification to enable them secure a meaningful employment for the to enjoy and achieve economic well being. the taxes they pay today will pave the way for their children to enjoy and achive, renaim health and safe and make a positive contribution to ghana economy as their kayayei mother did.
I think our pastors and bishops should be ware of what they say without any intelectual ane economic backing. it should not be based mainly on moral grounds. GHANA ALL THE WAY UP.............
GHana need a good tax basefor the future of the country.
