There is no value dumping that amount of money constructing drains when people have and continue to build along water way. Our standards are poor. Technocrats at the Roads Highways department have remained quite and have allowed the Accra Mayor to be ridiculed for breaking houses. What is the standard distance between major drains and houses? People blinly come from the hinterland and pitch camp anywere in the world. Parliament must know that they are legislature and must not allow the inherent political nature of most Ghanaians to hoodwink them in siding with every concern of the Ghanaian. Typical example been the Adjei Kodjo and Legon issues. Go through the archives and see the drainage pattern of Accra in the 70s that should be our standard.
