Women don’t plan to enter into abusive relationships. In fact, many women who have escaped abusive relationships swear to themselves that they will never get into another one, just to find themselves in another one.
Sadly, it takes an average of five to seven acts of violence before a woman leaves her abuser. So, why not plan to not enter into an abusive relationship in the first place?
It may be easier to avoid an abusive relationship if you’re able to detect the early signs. The following list “15 Warning Signs of an Abusive Relationship” is distributed by The Women’s Center to women seeking domestic violence counseling. This is disgraceful and those at GNA who conducted this survey should be ashamed. The figure is statistically insignificant for any valid and reliable conclusions to be drawn. The more worrying aspect is the fact that this was done over six days. What a lazy and lousy work. I am really disappointed.

I applied for a visa for her to come to America...which was denied because she used those internet scammers to help her fill out the forms which she could have done.. i forgave that she didn't listen to me. I came to Ghana to marry her. I treated her with all respect,never told her no about anything, never used harsh words against her....I loved her like GOD says to love a wife. Well She couldn't hold out six months before she started lying and cheating on me....mind you I am still trusting her with my soul...not knowing any of this is going on....she filed a divorce and 14 months later I get this in the mail.I had no clue. I had even flew to nigeria to meet some of her family members and didn't even know I was divorced. As you can imagine this was devastating to me. At the beginning of this year she tells me she's 8 months pregnant....she has been pregnant more than 4 times and lost the babies, she said she was just using me,called me trash, a fool loser, not a man and every other thing she could say to hurt me. I didn't know any of this evil was in my wife....6 whole years of supporting her sacrificing so she could live comfortable in ghana while we were waiting to be together,she didn't have to work and again I never treated my wife bad once during this six years.....and the whole thing was lies.AND I just found this out at the end of january this year...and she goes to royal house chapel faithfully......what the hell are they teaching people there? All she has done and she is treating me like I did all this wrong to her.....She tells me it was all lies and now she is ready to do the right thing and move on with her life....She sees no wrong at all and every time I talk to her she uses words to cut into my heart. I thought she was spiritual but really a person must be possessed to do this to someone that loves them unconditionally.This hurts me more than when I lost my mother.....and for my love my wife did this to me.

Studying male and female behaviors is what i do for a leaving. I have watched and partake in this form of competition in United States for almost eleven years. Everywhere, whether in the church or in community, schools, the men partner are very clueless about their female partners's preferences or bodily stats. I was born and brought up in Ghana so is my wife. We do this event as competition between spouses every tear at church where everybody is an American- north or sought,but guess which couple carries the day- me and my wife. Though I don't know much about her, i still know enough to beat all other couples. This kind of games is mostly on the TV's shows here in America, it is not new or strange statistics. So please spare Ghanaian men the idea that they are the worst- we are not. It is nature. Men don't think about those things they think about other stuff.

Four in 10 women have no idea about their husband's dates of birth while 70 per cent do not know about their favourite food or colour of dress, and 95 per cent do not know their length.
Six in 10 have absolutely no idea about their husbands' favourite perfume or food.
The study also found that 25 have never bought their husbands clothes or underwear, but in the wrong size, with more than a third of those having an argument about it.
More than half admitted that the majority of women are useless when it comes to remembering the little things about their other half, but they however, think women should make more efforts to get to know everything about their partners.
