With all due respect, the Ashanti region is not only occupied by Ashanti people, because of its vantage locality, different ethnic groups (including Ewes) feel comfortable residing in Ashanti.
With the exception of this murder cases, the recent armed robbery, dirty politics and the other calamities can't be attributed to only Ashantis' just because its our land. There are two sides to every coin and if u want to know the truth about those behind the recent calamities in Ashanti please be objective. No tribalism. Whatever happens in any region affects the nation as a whole. Let's be realistic and discuss how to find solutions to these problem and help our mother Ghana to develop. Cheers!!!

Land guards are feared because we have men and women who claim to be our leaders and yet cannot read nor understand problems that we face as a nation. Lands Commission is a mess without proper records or documentation. What is the punishment for a chief or someone selling a landed property to two or more people. Are we going to wait till people draw guns to defend their land and property? What kind of a country is this? The police have their hands tied or lack the skill and authority to do their job. Ghana is a MESS!. Now that we have a young man killed, what are we going to do?
