It is sad that Mr. Osafo Marfo who at various times headed the Finance and Education ministries think like this. To paraphrase Napoleon Hill, he and people who think like him have never heard that more gold has been mined from the brains of men than has ever been taken from the earth.
This has been amply demonstrated by countries like Japan and Singapore, and individuals like Kwasi Twum, Despite, Bill Gates, etc.
In fact, it is this thinking that natural resources are the all in all that has kept our country, and Africa as a whole, so backward! What we need is to re-orient our mindset to appreciate that people are the most important resource a country has!
