Why can't the illegitimate party also learn to be democratic and open its leadership contests to all its members freely and democratically to allow natural leaders emerge without the usual dubious tricks in the party that Mosquito is repeating today.
I blame the NDC stomach politicians for failing to stand up for democracy in this country by demanding that the long standing undemocratic culture in their party be scrapped, when Mr. Martin Amidu raised the alarm three years ago. That was the time when Mr. Mahama secretly and hurriedly declared himself flag bearer of the party immediately after the death of President Mills to eliminate potential competitors. He then organized big parties at stadiums for sycophant members of the party to rubber-stamp his decision and impose him on Ghanaians fraudulently.

The people around the presidency do not have the interest of the children at heart, they are after their own selfish interest. You will recall president Mills illness was kept secret till his death. This means that a dying man was the captain of the ship and yet guys like you did not see anything wrong. Mahama's presidency is a joke, he has no confidence and no charisma. If you really love your children and their future, sit up and look at the state of the economy, the amount of money slipping through the cracks, the degree of corruption etc. They spent their way to the presidency and they are spending their way to hang on to power, it is loot and share as Mrs Rawlings have said. The Nigerians have given a new terminology just before their recent election that dropped the mahama like non performer Jonathan. The terminology is called STOMACH INFRASTRUCTURE (on BBC yesterday). It is a situation whereby the ruling government fails miserably but in an election year share bribes to the gullible ignorant rural population with cash, rice, cutlass outboard motors etc. At times they even make you swear or do funny things like taking you to fetish priests etc. These are called STOMACH INFRASTRUCTURE. These were the common tactics of Jonathan similar to what dead goat has begun doing. However, Nigerians have woken up and have proven that it does not work. They collected the stomach infrastructure and voted wisely using their brains. That is how Jonathan lost.
Fellow Ghanaians collect the stomach infrastructure from the NDC but on the Election Day you vote them out massively. Nigeria has paved the way for the rest of Africa to follow.
