When he said that the Single Spine Salary Structure was not sustainable under Ghana' spresent economic situatio, some of us,ordinary workers believed that he was right. And how wrong could he have been when he said the government was not going to give out new contracts? The average Ghanian knows and accepts that it is better to complete on-going projects before tackling a new one, in situation of lack of funds.

This Fortiz/Merchant bank deal deal from all indications is putrid, it stinks to the high heavens and nothing can justify such an atrocious deal, when Ghanaian taxpayers, from all indications are not getting any VALUE FOR MONEY in this stinking deal. Omane Boamah, MD should seek to explain why an equity firm which cannot even boast of the asset base to even acquire a non-financial banking license, should be made to take on this onerous task of not even a merger, but a full complete acquisition of Merchant bank, when Ghanaian taxpayers, have been offered far, far better VALUE FOR MONEY propositions from identifiable bodies with a portfolio of assets eclipsing over 100 billion dollars? It is indeed mindboggling the level of impunity and recklessness which has been unleashed on the affairs on governance by this NDC gov't. When you have people like Allotey Jacob running thier porous mouths and suggesting who the Finance Minister should be, you get the feeling you're living in a hamlet some where in the desert surrounded by scorpions. He himself was not qualified to sit on the ECG Board but he took it as swiftly as you could blink an eye lid. He is not even qualified to be on the communication team, but he holds on with his dear life. How can such a jerk that plays comedy and thinks only of his grunting stomach smear the name of a hard working man who is trying to right a mess his peers and party have made? Mahama should stick to his gut feelings and not fall prey to these hungry and tasteless leeches in search of cheap blood. To be successful in finance, you need to have to guts to stay the course and the ability to realise when to make minor changes when the climate calls for it. To me, Terpker is doing his best giving what the state of our economy. The honest truth is, we don't have the money. We are in a deep shit. Our leaders have stolen and misappropriated practically all our resources to the bone. Even the marrow in the bones have been sucked out. All the loans we have taken had to be used to fill the bottomless hole this government has dug for us. I Suspect,there are soo many leakages in the financial system,which Terkper has identified to Seal,as the Sector Minister.The picture, I suppose ; is pathetically,unimaginably porous !. These very important measures are urgently needed before any prudent economic policies for growth and long term investment could show the desired results.
If Mr Terkper is able to eradicate or reduced to the bearest minimum,these loopholes, that alone can propel Ghana forward,towards the
