Some o his appointees need not be there and his government is too large. Parliament is too large and they salaries and allowances are too fat while others are not paid sor 22 months. Can there be unity? Then you have Nunoo Mensah and Buah talikng shit to workers and Mahama cannot reprimand them or even suspend them. Can there be a real unity to build the nation.

Their leaders and even the president is confused, running from one church to another thinking that a country's economic problems can be got from church house. He should ask President Obama the magic.Problems created by looters can solved by blocking the loopholes in the system. Nana Addo is the cause of this disunity in NPP. The reason being that he wants to be the NPP Mugabe. After two unsuccessful attempts to win power for the party and looking at his age of 72yrs, Nana needs not be advice to take the back stage but rather he is scheming things to lead the party again. This is the problem, Nana has to appreciate the fact that he is not so popular as he seems to believe. His two attempts have reduced the party's majority in six regions to ONLY two regions so where lies Nana's popularity. Nana should be told that he has had enough and he should take the back stage and support the young ones. Hon. Ghartey, please advice Nana to do the honourable thing by taken the back seat and this will restore hope and unity within the party.

The Akyem/Asante factor which is based on chieftancy traditional system must give way to all inclusive modern politics.The founders of UP don't like Unitary governance.Busia and Dombo opposed Kwame Nkrumah on this and called for a Federal system.I am not sure if J.B.Danquah shared the Federal idea.Apparently,Busia and Kuffour govt could not change the Unitary system for whatever reason I don't know.I think Joe Ghartey has a chance to lead NPP into 2016 general elections but until he is able to break the neck of the old tradition, things will be very difficult.At the moment,he is the only strategic candidate on my drawing board.Peter Mac Manu and Papa Owusu Ansah must help him to confront the situation.With oil production in the Western Region,Joe Ghartey has good cards in his hands to play a tactical game if he so wishes.Thank you.
