I would not blame Nyaho-Tamaklo for making those statements even though I agree that he misdirected some of his message.
Ashitey was the man who planned Nana Addo itinerary in the region and this was poorly done. Ashitey formed over a dozen sub committees to handle elections and yet nothing good came out of them.
He is the cause of the party's defeat in the region and must learn to accept his faults and mistakes. To tell us today that Nyaho Tamaklo is not a genuine NPP is to say that Nana Addo is also not a genuine NPP. In the 90's when we were struggling under JJ and pushing the party on, where was Ishmael Ashittey? Was it not the likes of Nyaho-Tamaklo, Victor Newman, Nana Addo etc, etc who rose to the task?
By the way where is the money that JAK gave for the constituencies for the campaign and elections? Ishmael must answer this question.
Ishmael lost the only primaries he was contested in and lost his chance of going for MP again. So he made sure that his successor also lost in the next primaries.
Ishmael as we all know paints those he hates black and glorifies himself. He wants a unique post of selecting ministers for Nana Addo in his government.
Even though I may not agree with Nyaho Tamaklo on his direct blame of Nana Akufo-Addo for been ineffective in Greater Accra, I will tell Ghanaians anytime and anywhere that it was the fault of Ishmael Ashitey and to some extend Agyiri Blankson that NPP fell in GAR.
