Sensible program, keep it up. Murtala is just out of touch with the poor and needy. One would think he should know better as he hails from an area where poverty is rampant.

There is no doubt that LEAP will see challenges in sustainability in the coming years such as looming world-wide recession, exponential growth in unemployment, and millions of baby boomers retiring. But the govt should not scrap LEAP. There is good news!
The private companies can partner with the Govt of Ghana to provide paid apprenticeship programs and life skills training.
The Gov of Ghana, in return, can give tax concessions to particpating companies.
