Whoever suits the job has to be on it. If female or male is capable of doing the job to achieve the goal (BETTER GHAHA), put him/her on it, the number of any gender at the house will not stop the achievement of the goal. The idea is to get experts to look after Ghana but not necessarily gender. The parliament is not a dance floor where dancing partners are to be of opposite sex.

I am surprise even in Parliament, women are being discriminated against, when they are the pillar of the nation.

it is better for our nation that we stress the strengths of genders rather than compare them. God in his wisdom has created male and female to complement each other. One has what the other has not and the two coming together would make the whole. Rather talking of discrimination, we should rather see how best each one should make his/her strengths felt in society and not to start comparing them. For once we begin to compare issues there will be problems. Is it not funny that Ghanaian who normally see it polite and respectful to call each other as brother or sister or aunt or uncle is now being seen as demeaning? Is it because this is used in Parliament? What is so special about being in Parliament? What has come of the normal courteous way of addressing others?

The no of female MP's are far less than that of the men so women cant be represented in all the committees.

You wait when women become numerous in Parliament and all those males pushing for their inclusion in everthing even at battlefronts, to street cleaners and night soil carriesr, would live to regret it.
