Well, I have news for you;from this day on, please note that Ewes do make up only about 50% of Voltarians. The Volta region inhabitants from Kpando and Hohoe (Mid-Volta), are made up of many tribes that do not speak Ewe at all. In fact, some do speak Twi even Asante Twi (AKAN). Tribes such as Nkonya, Worawora, Bowiri, Tepa, Akan, Buem, Kete-Krachi, and many others do occupy northern Volta Region. Have you ever thought of the fact that perhaps these other tribes of the Volta Region may have voted for the NDC because they did identify themselves with the NDC message and its social democratic political philosophy? Know that Volta is the most culturally or ethnically diverse region in Ghana an did not vote based on their tribal linkage, unlike the single-tribe Asantes of the Ashanti Region who voted almost 99% for the NPP.. I'm a Fante but I can tell you that Asantes are very modern even before the colonization of Ghana that was why they were able to resists the colony master than any people in Ghana even when some Ghanaians were helping the enemy to destroy the nation. Cape Coast known as the most civilized of Ghana have never made any significant progress because they rather prefer to support NDC or the tribalists in The Volta Region. Kumasi have developed far better. Even places we use to called villages in the olden times have become more advanced whilst Cape Coast is dying. It's time people from there also starts to think like the Asantes. Without the Asantes probably there wasn't any country called Ghana today.

Prince Charles has lost the throne to his son and he's accepted his fate. The next election should be based on tract record and not only talk talk. The party in power which signed the Oil contract should go back to the drawing board to get a 51% for Ghana and a 49% for the drilling company.

Asanteman was fully restored in the early 30`s long before your so called "Gold Coast" obtained its independence. It was the then Asantehene, who asked the Gold Coast Council and Asante Council to merge in order to represent the interest of the people of both Asante and the colony. This resulted in the burns constitution.
We have built our great townships and city states without the assistance from any government. We dont care, which government is in power, we dont owe allegiance to any government or political party. Even a small Odikro can undermine the authority of the government in Asante. i.e. the chief of Asueyeboa stopped the NDC government from building a road, close to the royal burial grounds of the town. This is a mere Kumasi chief, not even an Omanhene. When the government set up land courts all across the country, it explicitly stated, those courts have no authority over any land, which falls under the jurisdiction of Asanteman. By the way, the first technology park of Ghana is being built in my hometown, the Adako-Jachie, since my family released lands to carry out this project. Likewise, the Asante Kotoko park was built at Adako-Jachie. Many suburbs of Kumasi are growing faster and are better developed than your dirty capital.

A youth activist of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abednego Orstin Rawlings, has advised the presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to honourably concede defeat and accept the fact that, H.E. President John Dramani Mahama is the winner of the 2012 presidential election.
He added that, Nana Akufo-Addo must do that in order to avoid any form of embarrassment.
The youth activist further advised Nana Akufo Addo to concede defeat in order to drastically reduce the tension that has characterized this year’s presidential election and also help preserve the scarce financial resources that may be used to protect lives and property.
Mr. Orstin gave the assurance that, Ghanaians would be better off under the Mahama Presidency, insisting the people would never regret for voting the NDC back to power.
He has however congratulated Ghanaians, especially followers of the NDC, for voting massively for the party to continue the Better Ghana Agenda.
According to him, the outburst of Sir John and Jake Obetsebi Lamptey will not achieve any purpose, but will rather make the NPP more unpopular amongst the electorates.
He has therefore predicted that, “with this sort of brazen arrogance and insolence, it is certain that, the NPP will never taste power, at least not in the near future.”
