Prof, the fact that the present leadership has not been up to the challenges facing the country, does not absolve Mahama from being incompetent. All indications are that the country has been given to people who are not fit to lead. We lack quality leadership. Unless you are an academic
singing for your self interest, you should have observed, with an unbiased mind, that leadership was sorely lacking in Mahama administration. It was dysfunctional. The country doesn't have to accept mediocre level of performance from any party. It will be a dead end for Ghana with Mahama's leadership again. With poor leadership our situation will continue to get worse. If the future of Ghana is not going to be like the present, then we need to change our ways of doing things. We must identify our economic challenges and design pragmatic policies to solve them through effective implementation of programmes. Inept governance will send us towards economic disaster. A herculean task lies ahead of the next leader and JM can't be the right person as a crisis leader to steer the country to a better place.
