Most Ghanaians working n the field of science believe in witches and wizards. if we are to go by precedence, I would say that this venture is a waste of time and resources because ever since its creation in 6th of March 1957, no major scientific breakthrough has ever come from Ghana. Ghana is a fucking thrd world country where corruption top government officials, business men, and civil servants is a way of life. The hundreds of thousands of dollars that the Americans will pour into this venture will be looted by the so called scientists. Ghana is a fucking third world country.
Most major research into tropical and other diseases has been done at facilities and institutions outside Africa. So what s special about this project? You can take sample from Ghana, culture them in your lab, and do your research.
