Why did the ministry of health not do this sensitization program earlier? We all know why anybody would be scared to hear that an Ebola vaccine is being tried in his or her backyard. Our leaders need to be proactive in the way they serve their citizenry.

There has not before been seen a response to a country being selected for Ebola vaccine trials like the response from a small--but vocal--group of Ghanian citizens.

There has not before been seen a response to a country being selected for Ebola vaccine trials like the response from a small--but vocal--group of Ghanian citizens.
I am sure the MOH and others involved in the trials were caught off guard.
Those involved in the planning of vaccine trials in Ghana have themselves been sensitized to how best to introduce Ghanians to drug trials in the future.
You might say the MOH and others have been "sensitized" to the needs of Ghanians for information on drug trials...and sooner than later!
I pray for the best for Ghanians, whatever that may be.
