This early warning is very proactive on the part of the B/A Regional Minister Hon Eric Opoku. We should ALL be very careful and listen to the advise given.

Humanity has been eating bat meat for years without any health problem. The question is ,Why are we now running away from bat meat? The answer is found in the Holy Bible at Leviticus Chapter 11 verse 19. Starting from verse 13 Its written...And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls.......and bats are mentioned among them in V.19.
We never fell sick eating them which means God gave us a way where we can consume them without problem so why dont we ask the ancients how God made it simpler and healthier for them to consume bats by preparing it well,wash the meat in hot water taking all dirts from the meat before cooking, add some pepper as our mothers used to prepared them at Bechem where we consumed our bat meat
without leaving some for the next day
I think with the help of the United States of America and the Western World and God Almighty who guided our fathers to eat bat meat without getting ill will show us the way so my dear countrymen avoid eating bat meat now until God give us the "green Light".

Despite Brong-Ahafo's immense contribution to the economy of Ghana, proper healthcare facilities in the region are scare and far. More government allocation should go into healthcare in this important region which produces a great deal of cocoa, gold, timber for export and food for the rest of Ghana. Mr. Opoko should advise the DCE of Asutifi District resident in Kenyasi No. 2. in Ahafo to use earmarked development fund to build a hospital as most of the constituents of the district are demanding instead of the DCE's odd insistence of building a new market.. Moreover, the region has to embark on massive campaign against the consumption of bat and other bush meats, and especially the consumption of "impika" (bat shit) which is delicacy in some parts of the region.

We need to immediately today go there and destroy them and their breeding grounds. Their caves need to be sprayed immediately. We are so ignorant that some people would still enjoy these bats to the detriment of all of us, some might not hear that the bats of Buoyam caves inhibits the ebora antigens so we need to aggressively move fast before any fool is deceived by the devil.
