All those little apuskelekes his has fixed and promoted ahead of all the competent hands at the NHIS cannot help him from Mahama's sledge hammer.
Sylvester is fighting hard to keep his job.
I pray Mahama jettisons him.

@ Kwabena what a joker! This is called leadership, when you spell out your plans ahead of the year and get your organisation to follow suite. If all state agencies could tell us what this year will look like for them, so we can hold them accountable at the end of the period, i'm sure Ghanaian tax payers will be the winners!! Dont trivialise every news. Be a constructive citizen. Abeku, Cape coast

The NHIS is vital to our healthcare system enabling many to have access to primary healthcare at the time of need.
The initiatives taken to improve the scheme over the years have been worthy.
We would urge the NHIS executive and all stakeholders to work together to improve the scheme.
This should include proper accounting and audit procedures, and streamlined structures to prevent fraud and wastage. A whistleblowing channel should be established.

Whether action or inaction. The question to ask is, when one is sick and visited the hospital, is the NHIS card collected and the patient treated. That is what you have to work on. Try clearing all the bottle neck thwarting the idea. All sabotuers must be removed on the way of the NHIS. I wanted to go and pay, for NHIS but was quickly told that, when you send the card to the hospital, it would not be accepted.

That is not true. it is an offence for any accredited health facility to reject the nhis card. It's all politics!
