The Airmen, as far as I used to know have certain privileges with the civilian airports - they drive across the tarmacs, get access to certain restricted areas etc. The Aviation officials are supposed to be aware of this, and the airmen ought to properly introduce themselves to the staff at the airports. I know this because, I had rides across the KIA from the Air Force Station several times and officers used to meet me at Baggage claims and baggage checks all the time. Flying Officer Amponsah might be wrong, but I do not think he merits being sacked as suggested by some of the earlier commentators.

A couple of Months ago soldiers cum Police were dispatched to maintain order in a chieftaincy dispute at Akyem Swedru in the Eastern Region. They went to one Nyameke's house looking for alleged "trouble makers". Nyameke told them there's nobody else in the house except himself. The soldiers challenged that, and when Nymeke stood his ground and repeated his response, these FOOLS in Khaki FATALLY assaulted him. They took this man's LIFE away from him with impunity. Can one imagine?!!!
Rawlings used soldiers to KILL many civilians during the era of his many COUPS. Till today, many soldiers think they have guns, so have the license to kill. Why do we continue to recruit FOOLS into the army?
In Ghana, any 6 feet something tall without much education and commonsense is deemed fit for military "recruit division". This has to stop. If the army has nothing much to do, our constitution should assign them to FARMING. At least in farming they would be PRODUCTIVE and make GOOD USE of their muscles. NONSENSE!!

These soldiers need to dealt with drastically and sacked to serve as a deterrent to other soldiers.

There was a small puddle on the runway last year. It may have been camel urine. The runway has now been refurbished by North Korean contractors at a cost of 28 million dollars.
