In Ghana judges are the weakest link in the country's democracy. Ghanaian judges are supposed to be principled but they are not trust worthy. Judges in Ghana embody the Ghanaian attributes of bribery, sycophancy, arrogance, corruption and what not. In Ghana injustice prevails everywhere because judges do not believe that they are the last governmental institution that protects the common man against the tyranny of the state, and the impudence of the affluent and the connected.
Ever since Rawlings summarily executed the three high court judges, judges in Ghana have been eternally cowered into submission. A Ghanaian judges instinct is always what is expedient. In Ghana a judge dare not rule against the powerful or the connected. It is close to impossible for the common man to seek refuge in the judicial system. I think we are doomed.

I wonder if the CJ wants to tell us NOW that she had NEVER known the corruption within her own Industry, being the JUDICIARY.
In fact if the Chief Justice had been smart and astute enough to learn what had gone wrong within her own Department, GHANA wouldn't had been in such a MESS of our JUDICIARY.
One would wonder if she did take any notice of what MARTIN AMIDU wrote in his capacity as a former Attorney General in the ATTA MYTHS and the current Regime of DULLARD " DUMSOR" MAHAMA in the cases of the DEBT JUDGEMENT SAGA.
The fact of the matter is, we had this NEEQUAYE son of a BITCH PROSECUTOR whose wife eventually had some FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND CEDIS of the WOYOME MONEY, and HEAVEN KNOWS how much NEEQUAYE had for himself.
Now, when this case came to the public domain, THIEF PRESIDENT MAHAMA decided to transfer the Public Prosecutor, NEEQUAYE TO THE NORTH; INSTEAD IF SACKING HIM.
In fact there are untold situations within the Judiciary which has allowed the POOR being responsible for uprooting a farmer's tuber of cassava in his farm getting TWO OR MORE YEARS IN JAIL whilst these JUDICIARY THIEVES GET AWAY WITH MURDER.
So LADY, IF YOU DON'T ACT NOW YOU WOULD GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS ONE WHO HAS LET OUR COUNTRY GHANA DOWN. NOT MURDERER RAWLINGS AND HIS P/NDC BRIGADE!!!!
SHOW YOUR COMPETENCE NOW, LADY!!!!
Best Regards,

ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT YOU ENJOY THE DISRESPECT THAT AMERICAN KIDS SHOW TO THEIR TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS? DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY GHANAIAN KIDS ARE IN JAIL AND IN GANGS, BEING KILLED AND KILLING EACH OTHER IN BRITAIN?
IT HAS BECOME A CURSE TO TRAIN YOUR CHILD IN THE WEST. A NINE YEAR OLD GIRL COULD TELL HER TEACHER OF ABOUT 50 YEARS, “I WILL SLAP YOU?” IS THIS THE KIND OF CULTURE YOU ARE PROPOSING FOR OUR MOTHERLAND?
C'MON MY BROTHER, LET US WISE UP. THE FACT THAT ONE TEACHER ABUSES A CHILD IN A VILLAGE SOMEWHERE IN GHANA, DOES NOT MEAN CORPORAL PUNISHMENT SHOULD BE ABOLISHED. IT HAS HELPED US, LET US CONTINUE WITH IT.
THE FACT THAT THERE IS AN ACCIDENT ON THE ROAD DOES NOT MEAN TRANSPORTATION IS BAD AND SHOULD BE ABOLISHED.
WISE UP GHANA.
OUR FOREFATHERS PREACHED AND PRACTICED CORPORAL PUNISHMENT.
OUR CULTURE ENDORSES IT.
THE BIBLE PREACHES IT.
THE WORST THING THAT CAN EVER HAPPEN TO GHANA IS NOT CORRUPTION OR COUP DETA'T BUT TO REMOVE CORPORAL PUNISHMENT FROM OUR SCHOOL SYSTEM!
PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE.
DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY GHANAIAN KIDS ARE IN JAIL IN BRITAIN BECAUSE THAT SYSTEM DOES NOT ALLOW CORPORAL PUNISHMENT? THEY HAVE GROWN WILD AND IT HAS BECOME A CURSE TO SOME PEOPLE FOR RAISING THEIR KIDS IN THE WEST.

Urging so called officials to do the right thing is not good enough. If you know of any corrupt officials then take them to court to make examples of them.
No amount of "urging" would change their corrupt behaviours.

Ghanaian judiciary have no intergrty in the eyes of Ghanaians. They should clean their act, as many ghanaians have lost faith in the system. Ghana is a country where land cases are never settled, where a person can ask his lawyer over more than twenty years to appear incourt before a judge to plead that he or she has travelled to evade appearing before the judge and a judge will allow this for over years. what is this if that is not corruption, inept and inefficiency? I am sure that any ghanaian who is involved in dispute over land in Ghana will be familiar with these kind of practices in Ghanaian courts. You are supposed to be the soul of a country, but your behaviour is rather disgraceful. You need to earn the dignity and respect from ghanaians.Ghanaian judges should come from thir citadels and come to the level of ordinary ghanaian to experience how your attitudes is affecting ordinary Ghanaians
