The number of court houses and judges in Ghana are inadequate. The population has ballooned and changes have to be made. The same can be said of the number of police officers and the number of penitentiaries. On a visit to a number of court houses around the country I found the Ghana flag and the Ghana Coat of Arms (Seal) absent. This must change.
Good policing is needed in order for companies to operate effectively. How many detectives has the Ghana police service got and to what extent do they pursue cases? Too many people are being robbed of their toil and sweat. It is important that we increas the police-population ratio.
In many areas especially in the at least 12 Akyem districts which make up more than half of the population of the Eastern Region the police is out of reach but the chiefs have been doing their best in ensuring that law and order prevail in these areas. The judiciary must provide these districts with an Appeals court and high courts. The law firms located there must have some work to do.
Looking at salary levels or the per capita income it is apparent that a sizable proportion of the population cannot afford good legal services. The government must therefore provide some subsidies in this regard lest our republic turn into an oligarchy.
Judges deserve good salaries but what would a judge consider virtuous?? Judges must bear in mind that their salaries cannot be more than the productivity of the general public. They must take the GNI per capita of Ghana into account.
How can judges help increase the GDP of Ghana? Judges must be at work by 8am and leave not before 5pm.

This kind of murder is too common at Begoro
and the villages around. A man was beheaded few months ago at his cottage near Opare, till now nothing is done about it.

Is the nation in the hands of the devil? A 64-year old CPP guru was on Monday gunned down by armed robbers who attacked him at his residence. They raped two other inmates. These cases have become so rife, that it's really frightening. What are govts voted into power to do at all? People can be so ruthless, heartless, cold-hearted, wicked, bestial and satanic. Today murder is committed with such impunity, it looks like it's become a sport. God have mercy! What on earth could this 72-year old man have done to have been murdered in such cold blood? So people have no mercy, no pity, no compassion, no heart of forgiveness, no human feelings, even for an aged man like this? Hmmmmm! It's so sad, so pathetic, so painful that he has met his untimely death in such gruesome manner. May his soul rest in perfect peace. As for the perpetrator of this crime, not even God will forgive him. Whatever informed his decision to take this man's life in such ghastly manner, may he never have his peace. May he be haunted every second of his bloody fucking life by this man's ghost, until he dies too, in a more terrible, horrendous manner.

The old man was gruesomely murdered on his farm which is located about 500m from his house. The farm is just nearby to his house and this "farm" could be a building plot perhaps meant for his children. one quick and sure way to investigate and get to the gruesome murder(s) is to investigate whether or not there is or has been a dispute over the farmland. This information can readilly be sought from the town/village folk and/or the elders of the towm/village. May the perpetrator(s) be quickly exposed and punished accordingly.

The practice of adopting a lot of British social and legal systems, whilst encouraging American behaviours and lifestyles is controversial and unsafe. Murder or acts leading to the murder of one man, should be punishable by one and only one deterrent – capital punishment. This is because without a decent and fitting state sponsored retribution, victims are likely to exact revenge in tit-for-tat murderous antics which is not good for peace, order and tranquillity.
