I had a case with this Lion guy at the Tesano Police station some years ago when he run into our car with his motor bike at dawn on the Nsawam road near Amasaman. The junior police officers are even afraid of him cause of his links with senior police officers. The Lady police officer who was in charge of the case informed me that he is a known armed robber who doubles as an informant for the police. This Lion guy even reported the officer in charge of the case to senior officers the police headquarters and hence the police officer pleaded with us to pay him off since she was afraid the guy could just ambush her and she was sure he will go scot free. The police in Ghana need to take action on their criminal friends even if they need them as informants.
