God does not bring people together in marriage; it is the people who find themselves as lovers who decide on their own to get married. Therefore at any point in time, they should feel free to go their separate ways if they think they could no longer cope to avoid such tragic ends of one or both.

The law must immediately chop off the man's head. No need to drag him to court, get remanded and fed at public expense for long before judgment.
