LIVE UPDATES: Ghana vs Holland (U-20 Women's World Cup)

Black Princesses must get a favourable scoreline today to keep their hopes alive Black Princesses must get a favourable scoreline today to keep their hopes alive

Hello, good afternoon and a warm welcome to our coverage of the FIFA Women’s under-20 World Cup match between Ghana and Holland.

Ghana’s Black Princesses take on Holland in the second round matches of the group games of the 2018 under-20 Women’s World Cup ongoing in France.

The Princesses suffered a 4-1 humiliation at the hands of host nation France and a defeat today could spell their end in the tournament.

The Black Princes who are without their lead goalscorer Princilla Adubea are determined to turn things around and break the jinx of not going beyond the group stage of the competition.

Coach Yusif Basigi blame his side’s heavy defeat to France on the poor preparations they had ahead of the game but with the first game out of their way, hopes can be banked on the ladies to perform better than they did.

Holland, unlike Ghana, pipped New Zealand 1-0 to fetch their first three points of the tournament and need a win today to secure a spot in the next of the competition.
