Ghana FA to unveil Avram Grant on Wednesday

The Ghana Football Association will unveil new Black Stars coach, Avram Grant this Wednesday at its head office in Accra.

The 59-year-old is set to arrive in Ghana from the United Kingdom on Tuesday night after signing his two-year contract last week.

Grant, a former Chelsea and Portsmouth coach replaces James Kwesi Appiah who parted ways with the Ghana FA in September.

His first assignment will be at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equitorial Guinea, a tournament Ghana have reached the last four in the previous four editions.

Avram Grant's contract starts from December 1, 2015 to February 2017.

Wednesday’s press conference will offer the Israeli the platform to tell Ghanaians his plans for the Black stars during his two-year stint.
