Mumuni to return to World ranking

Ghana’s para-cyclist Alem Mumuni is set to return to the international ranking after months of absence.

This follows his participation in the International Cycling Union (UCI) World Cup in Spain,last week.

Mumuni, placed 18th in the Time Trial and 17th in the Road Race in a competition that saw 380 cyclists participants.

It also served as one of the qualifiers for the Paralympic Games, in Brasil in 2016.

Speaking to the GNA Sports, Mumuni, said, he was removed from the ranking due to inactivity, but added that, with his participation in the World Cup, he was confident of getting back into the international ranking.

Mumuni, who is seeking to make another appearance in the next Paralympic Games said, he was looking forward to compete in few more international events before the close of the year.
