2012/13 GPL: Gyamfi Park cleared to host Edubiase

FA Cup holders new Edubiase have been given the greelight to play their Premier League home games at the Gyamfi Park in Bekwai.

The Bekwai venue became a doubt to host league games after officials of the Premier League Board (PLB) expressed concerns over the state of the facility after its first inspection.

The venue has now been given the clear after officals of the PLB led by Ackah Anthony went on a further inspection of the venue on Wednesday.

"Edubiase have satisfied all the requirements we demanded after our first inspection. The Bekwai venue has therefore been cleared to host Premier League games this season," Ackah Anthony said.

Edubiase will therefore have their 2012/13 season opener against Tarka-based Medeama SC at the Gyamfi Park on Sunday, October 7.
