Hasaacas management finger three players for alleged bribery

The Management of first division outfit Sekondi Hasaacas has accused 3 players of the club of allegedly taking bribes to play a match of convenience in their final Middle League play -off match against King Faisal in Tema last Friday.

According to our sources, the 3 accused players are centre half Theophous Awotwe, full back Felix Kwakye and goalkeeper Joseph Abbey.

The Management of the club has thus set up a 3-member Committee made up of Faruk Mohammed(Board Member), Alhaji Labaran (Management member) and Richard Aggrey (Supporters Chairman) to look into the allegations leveled against the said players.

The Committee has been given up to September 7 2012 to submit its report to the Management.

Sekondi Hasaacas lost 0-2 to King Faisal in the match in question, leading to King Faisal’s return to Ghana’s top flight.
