Kotoko institutes Player of the Month Award Scheme

As from the coming 2012/13 season, players of Asante Kotoko will have the benefit of enjoying from their performance if they get to win any of the newly instituted monthly “RedHill Player of the Month Award”.
The winner of the award will be announced a day before the last home match of Kotoko every month.
The award is the brainchild of the Dr. Ernest Opoku, the Managing Director of RedHill Medical Centre in Kumasi.
Briefing Kotoko Express at the premises of his plush medical facility, Dr. Ernest Opoku, who is also an ardent fan of the fabulous club says it was his “small contribution” to the success of the club.
“Management is doing so well by recruiting the kind of quality players that we are hearing about. With all this, I feel compelled to complement their efforts by instituting this modest award. I believe our players will take up this challenge and make the best out of the offer I am making”.
Though he is still consulting on the modalities to be used in the selection and the prize at stake every month, he says it will be devoid of confusion.
“I will be meticulous in selecting the winner and I can also assure all that the prize will be good enough for every Kotoko player to aspire for that monthly award” he added.
