Clottey laments cheating 'Ahly'

This may be the last weekend of destiny in this year's African Champions' League for Berekum Chelsea and their top scorer hopes for a fair game at the weekend. Emmanuel Clottey has accused the Egyptians of cheating in the first leg in Cairo.

"We are going to beat them when they com. If you look at the away match that we played [in Cairo] they cheated us. The referee was not on our side and he made things difficult," the player told SuperSport.com before leaving China after the national team's international friendly.

Clottey is just a goal away from equaling the record number of goals scored by an individual in the African Champions League, as he has netted 12 goals in this year's competition. The holder of the overall record of 13 goals is Nigeria's Stephen Worgu for Enyimba in 2008.

"We are also playing at home now and with home support and fairness from the referee maybe we can do something special," he said.

Clottey also told media at the post-match press conference in China that he is feeling the pressure.
