Afful arrives in Black Stars camp for qualifiers

Tunisia-based defender Harrison Afful has joined his Ghana team mates for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.

The Esperance ace arrived in Accra on Tuesday afternoon and board a local flight to Kumasi where the team has been camping since Sunday.

His arrival has completed the final 24-man squad selected by head coach Kwesi Appiah.

Afful will sit out the Black Stars friendly against second-tier side State Envoys at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The versatile player was named in the final squad for the double-header next month despite missing six training sessions.

The former Asante Kotoko left-back is likely to miss out the match against the Crocodiles on Friday but will vie for a position for tie against Zambia on June 9.
