Colleges of Education form sports association

Accra, Jan. 10, GNA - Colleges of Education in Ghana have formed a sports association aimed at promoting and developing sports in the country= 's education training colleges. The group to be known as the College of Sports Education Association (COESA) will seek to develop various sports development programmes to meet the needs of training colleges in the country.

Information gathered from the secretariat of the Association by GNA Sports indicates that there will be a formal inauguration of COESA on Wednesday, January 12 at the Media Center, Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra. According to the information, the ceremony will be attended by outgoin= g Ministers of Youth and Sports and Education, Ms Akua Sena Dansua and Mr Ale= x Tettey-Enyo respectively.

The ceremony is expected to commence at 10:00am, and it is expected to set the tone for the Association to commence its work at the Colleges level to harness and groom youthful sportsmen and women.
