Five-member Interim Committee to manage Wise

Accra, Nov. 18, GNA - A five-member Interim Management Committee (IMC) has been set up to run the day-to-day affairs of relegated Sekondi Eleven Wise for a two year term.

The committee will be headed by Mr Kwaku Twum Barimah, has Mr Emmanuel Assafuah as the Director of Operations, Mr Chris Donkor as a member with two nominees from the office of the Life Patron of the Club, Nana Kobina Nketsia V, Omanhen of Essikado Traditional Area, one of whom shall be the Vice Chairman.

Under the terms of reference, the IMC is to prepare the Club for participation in all GFA programme of activities, raise and manage funds through commercial and sponsorship activities, including sale of media rights, proceeds from licensing/merchandising and other promotional activities, subject to rules and regulations of the football controlling body.

It will also be expected to supervising the activities of any sub-committees formed to assist it in the discharge of its mandate. Magnus Rex Danquah, Spokesperson on football matters for the Life Patron of the Club, has been mandated to perform supervisory role over the IMC and will be expected to appropriately direct the activities of the IMC.
