Psychic predicts World Cup win for Ghana

SUFFOLK, UK: It's not the prediction England fans in the county wanted - but Fabio Capello's men will not be bringing home the World Cup this summer.

In fact - if Ipswich medium Sue Knock's information from the psychic world proves true - an African side will lift the trophy for the first time.

She is predicting Ghana - the team of Essien, Muntari and Appiah - could take home the coveted cup.

“England and Germany will both make very good starts but then fade, while Italy and France will do well. Ghana - the name which comes to me most strongly - will win it,” said Miss Knock.

According to Miss Knock, a psychic for 30 years, the world is facing a very unsettled year with 2010 likely to bring more bad news than good.

Ipswich though could be set to buck the trend and enjoy a positive 12 months - while the town could become a real honey pot for tourists.

Some of the highlights of the year ahead could include:

A Royal birth;

Felixstowe, Ipswich and SnOasis linking up to attract tourists;

A major volcano eruption;

Earthquakes in northern England which will be felt in Suffolk;

A terrorist alert at the Port of Felixstowe connected with a chemical;

A huge row over the axing of a popular TV star over their age;

Conservatives will win the General Election;

A nice hot summer.

Miss Knock, who two years ago forecast the recession and also predicted the recent postal strikes and train problems in the EuroTunnel, said: “Felixstowe is going to link with Ipswich Waterfront and SnOasis as a tourist attraction - it will make Felixstowe become more popular and there will be a big growth in jobs in Ipswich connected with this project.

“People will come to Ipswich from all over the world and it will be a great time for the town with everyone benefitting.”

IPSWICH: Roy Keane and the Super Blues' see-saw season will continue - and there will be no Premiership place this year.

Some may say it wouldn't take a clairvoyant to know that after Town's awful start, but given time it could get better.

“I feel they will move up the league quite well but then suddenly come down again,” said Sue Knock.

“But over a period of time we will get back into the limelight again…but not just yet.

“It could be three years before this happens.

“The club needs to be given time to set itself right but I can see Roy Keane bringing back the good times - I can see people on the Cornhill waving little flags, very excited, and Ipswich Town back up there again.”
