Ghanaian youngster signs new deal with Rosenborg

19 year old Ghanaian footballer Kwaku Osei Oviasu has signed a new two year contract with Norway champions Rosenborg. A dynamic player whose best position is central midfield but can also play in defence, Oviasu also has a keen eye for goals.

A key member of the Rosenborg side which won the Norway U-19 championship back in September, Oviasu has been with the club three years and is ready to now step into the senior team. The youngster, who has both Ghanaian and Norwegian nationalities, hopes to learn a lot under fellow Ghanaians Anthony Annan and Alexander Tettey, both regular players of the Rosenborg first team.

According to the player’s agent, many clubs in England are keen on snatching Oviasu from the wings of Rosenborg but they player wants to learn more with the Norway champions. In fact, the fear of losing him is the main reason why the management of Rosenborg have moved to tie the versatile Oviasu down with the new contract. http://www.rbk.no/incoming/article157661.ece, as reported on the Rosenborg website.
