Tagoe denies Hoffenheim deal

Black Stars striker Prince Tagoe has denied media reports claiming he has sealed a two-year-deal with German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim.

Tagoe told Ghanasoccernet.com that the Hoffenheim deal is not cut-and-dried.

Early this week, the player was quoted by Sky Sports as saying:"I am delighted to join a young club, this club is giving an opportunity to youngsters to express themselves and I am happy to be part of it,"

But the 22-year-old said: "It's not true that I have signed for Hoffenheim. They are talking to me but nothing concrete has been reached.

"I'm still a player of Ettifaq and want to see through my contract. For now I can tell you I haven't signed for them.

"I can't still be under contract with Ettifaq and be signed to another team. It is illegal.

"Hoffenheim are still talking to me but nothing has come out. I have other offers too and so my options are wide open. Let's just wait and see."

The Al Ettifaq player has been linked with some European clubs and could leave the Saudi side for Europe this summer.
