Cologne Coach To Meet Milo Over Derek Boateng

90 MINUTES understands that German Bundesliga outfit, FC Cologne's head Coach Christophe Daum will meet with Black Stars Coach, Milovan Rajevac at the end of the German Bundesliga season to discuss the future of star midfielder, Derek Boateng. Reliable and confidential information pieced together by 90 MINUTES has revealed that the German coach is prepared to meet with his Serbian counterpart to discuss issues relating to Boateng's possible inclusion into the Black Stars or as it were, for the Serb to give the midfielder a chance to stake a claim for a Black Stars shirt.

A source close to the player hinted us: “Christophe Daum has had discussions with Boateng on the issue and could possibly meet Milo to speak on the player's behalf because his game has improved tremendously in the last few weeks. Derek has been excellent in his few appearances for Cologne and could therefore play a part in Milo's search for new entrants to beef up the team after the Stars unconvincing performance against the Beninois last month.” The source said Christophe Daum has been quite happy with the performance of Boateng since giving him his first start in a Cologne shirt as the Ghanaian has worked hard on his fitness levels to break into the first eleven. The former Beitar Jerusalem marksman was again in action for 90 MINUTES over the weekend when FC Cologne lost 1-3 to Borussia Dortmund.
