Fabulous Asante Kotoko put up a very disappointing performance in their 1-0 win over Arsenal of Lesotho in their one-eighth stage first leg match of the CAF competition.

Against a side of mediocre quality, it was only a flash of brilliance on the part of Joe Debrah in the 35th minute that managed to give Kotoko a goal. Debrah after being fouled outside the Arsenal "18" elected to take the ensuing free kick himself. He let go a thunderous shot which deflected of the body of one of the defenders of Arsenal into the net.

Apart from this goal, there was not much worthy of mention in the match and many supporters of Kotoko left the stadium wondering whether the glorious days of the Porcupine Warriors will ever return again.
