Power are Favourites

WILL Adansiman be second time lucky this time when they engage Power FC in their titanic play-off at the Accra Stadium this afternoon?

Obviously, the patience of the two teams appears to be running out by now following the several postponements this particular match has suffered.

But that experience can certainly not affect the determination of these two teams in any way as both have vowed to book the premiership ticket.

Adansiman are looking more determined than ever after missing a similar opportunity last year when they lost by a narrow 3-2 margin to Bofoakwa.

But the Obuasi-based Division One club have a herculean task in defying tradition as the play-off has usually favoured premier league clubs since its inception three years ago.

Goldfields won the maiden event when they beat B.A. United 3-1 at the Koforidua Park.

Thus, Power FC, who placed 14th in the premier league last season, stand a good chance of winning today’s game at the expense of their opponents who finished third behind Maxbees and Arsenal in the last Division One middle league
