Meteors fall in Tehran

Ghana fell to a 4-2 defeat against Iran on Thursday in an international friendly at Tehran's Azadi stadium.

Ghana parading the Olympic side dominated by locally-based players against Iran's senior side, the Team Melli struggled in the opening stages of the game as the host took a 3-0 lead before the 40th minute.

However, before the first half, Black Meteors captain, Bernard Yao Kumordzi pulled one back for Ghana.

In the second half, Samuel Addo reduced the deficit to a goal. Hoever two minutes later the Iranians made it 4-2.
