Colts soccer league match ends abruptly

Cape Coast, May 31, GNA - The Cape Coast Municipal Under-17 soccer league match between Liberty Rainbow and Young Eagles played at the Mfantsipim Secondary School sports grounds on Sunday ended abruptly in the 73rd minute.

The score at the time of the incident was 1-1.

The incident started when Referee Isaac Odoom whistled for an infringement against Young Eagles and the supporters of led by the Chairman of the Club, John Yeboah, invaded the playing field and attacked the referee.
