Black Starlets’ Squad Pruned Down

The technical team of the junior national team, the Black Starlets has reduced the number of players currently preparing in Egypt for the upcoming African Youth tournament in Togo.

In all, about eight local players have been asked to come back to Ghana for not being able to justify their inclusion very well in the team. Sources close to Solid Sports indicates that the technical team headed by Fred Osam Duodu were not impressed by the performance of the players after a series of friendlies with junior teams of some top teams in Egypt hence their elimination.

The eight, namely Emmanuel Bukarson,(Kessben F.C), Jiffah Appiah(Chelsea F.C),Ebo Andoh(Corners Babies),Phillip Boampong(Maxbees),Ibrahim Doseh(Norchip)Nana Benyin Francis and Nana Yaw Sarfo are however expected in Ghana tonight .

Meanwhile, the Starlets are scheduled to play a host of friendlies numbering about five before they finally leave for Togo next Month and are still awaiting the arrival of England based Kevin Bossman some Other Players from Ghana this week.
