Ghanaian top scorer in Ismaili tryouts

Ghanaian league top-scorer Alex Asamoah has arrived in Egypt to undergo a trial period with Ismaili.

The 21-year-old forward who plays Ghanaian side Ashantigold has scored seven times for his team this season.

Ismaili are hoping to sign the player in the winter transfer window but coach Mark Wotte will not make a final decision before returning from Algeria where the team will face Ahli Bordj in the second round of the Arab Champions League.

Asamoah will train individually in Ismailia until the team returns from Algeria.
